I had my lap band for four years and am just now having acid reflux. Only cold, cold milk feels good. Anyone having this?

I would definitely schedule a barium swallow test with fluro with your doc. Slippage/Dilation takes on the form of Reflux or heartburn and the earlier it is caught the easier it is to fix.

I'm sure all you need is a little fluid taken out. Reflux usually indicates that you are too tight. You probably have a little swelling.

I'm 3.5 years out and I starting having reflux bad the beginning of this year. I know that I should go see my doc, but can't seem to make it there yet.

I'm glad you posted this. I get this a little since my fill a week ago. I think it just means we're tighter and need to slow down a bit (in my case.) I had this right after my last fill, also, but after I lost weight it went away. I know I didn't slip or dilate in the past week because I've been following every little rules that exists! Haha, I have, though. I think it just means we're probably a little tighter than we should be and my thoughts on this is, I'll lose some more weight and it will go away - it's a win win!! Mine is very minor, though, yours sounds a little more uncomfortable. Good luck, hope you feel better!
