I think something is stuck! Help?!

Ok.....banded on June14.2011

Things have gone well.......until last night. I break my pills (which are already small) in half.....but I think something is lodged? 

It hurts! I had this immediate sensation of wanting to vomit.....I gagged a few times but nothing happened. Then there was also this pain and tightness from my throat down to the end of my sternum. That was at 10pm last night. I woke up at 5 am and the pressure is this there. Help?!?! :-((.

Get some pineapple juice. Drink a little, see if that helps. If not, try some warm tea. I have had a small pill stuck, it is bad, hope you feel better soon. Karen

I agree, try the pineapple juice and warm tea or water. Also the pill may be dissolved and you are sore from where it was lodged. Just drink liquids today. Don't hesitate to call your Doc.

Thanks so much! I've read that in the other post re: this "situation". I'm off to the nearest grocery for pineapple juice pronto!

Agree with the above! If these don't help definitely call your doctor. Pills can do damage if they're stuck and dissolve in your stoma, depending on what the pill is.
