Surgery Yesterday

I'm here... in Mexico at the hospital. I had my surgery yesterday and it went well. The only problem was the Dr. ended up doing an incision instead of laproscopily. I guess he felt it was safer for me to have it done that way. I find out soon if I can start liquids today. I've only been on ice since after surgery. I'm having some gas pains mostly all in my stomach. THey told me todays goals are some liquids and lots of walking. It hurts when I stand because of the weight of my stomach that pulls down from my incision which is located alittle under my breast bone. Sore throat from the breathing tube but all in all I'm doing good and I know I'm going in the right direction. :)
