  4. So I finally got the message to my doctor to put me back in the bariatric program. When the nurse called she was completly out of line and trying to talk me out of the surgery. Out of the blue the woman went off..... I was in tears. I work in the medical field as well and that was uncalled for. I am too scared to complain since she is my pcm's nurse. My choices are non of her business!!!! Bet that b***h is skinny LOL Mad needed to vent.

  6. That makes sense. So far I have the opinion that this may be only a temporary thing. Anyone that gets it removed seems to put weight on at alarming rates. I want the lap band. I hope I will never have to have it removed.

  11. There are so many emotions involved. Fear, shame, nevousness. When u said u bawled on the floor for 15min., tears came to my eyes. I know that I will feel the same. Good luck to u and go for it. You never know if you are going to have problems or not. it is a gamble, but health is more important.

  13. I go to OA (overeaters anonymous) and will continue to go after surgery. I recommend it!!!!!
  14. thought caffine was an appitite supressant. it helps me not eat as much. Great idea for when I get the surgery. You all rock!!!!
  15. well, depends on what the doc charges and what he or she can get insurance to pay for. Tummy tucks run around 10k-12k. I havent even gotten my band yet. I will need and tummy and breast job. Good luck. Hope u can get it for free and look awesome.

  21. Thank you for that. I think she drank a lot of calories. I am so fortunate to have it covered. I am 5'6 and 248. I would never be approved on the outside.
