protein shakes

hey,i'm getting banded on the 16th which is Thursday.. so my doc puts me on clear liquids 5 days pre op.. can i add skim milk to my shakes now? or does this have 2 wait after surgery.. the water mixed with the whey protein is disgusting,but i drink it.. any suggestions on tasty protein shakes?

i got to use skim milk in my protein shakes up until the night before my surgery. It does taste much better. I also bought some EAS brand whey protein, and it tastes pretty good. EAS brand is sold at Target. I'm not sure where else. Good luck!

I too use the EAS whey protein. I have the chocolate and vanilla. I love to add a banana to the chocolate!!! It has really kept me going. I get it at Ralph's market and at the GNC store. Good Luck!!

Walmart also sells the EAS brand.

i used unjury chocolate Classic and it is amazing! mixed with skim milk, tastes just like chocolate milk. its outstanding! good luck!!!

I have surgery Thursday and my doctor told me it was fine to drink the EAS Myoplex Chocolate, Strawberry, or Vanilla shakes up until surgery.
