Post Fill Issues

Hi All...new to this site but hoping someone can give me some advice. I went in and had an adjustment yesterday (I believe I am now at 6 cc's). Everything was fine after I left the office. I was drinking Water and even had Soup for dinner. This morning, however, I am having a hard time even keeping water down and feeling very uncomfortable. Is this just due to the swelling that can happen with the adjustment or is my band just too tight? I already asked to see the doctor again but they can't see me until tomorrow and I am hoping I will just start feeling better.

Any advice or thoughts?

How does hot coffee or tea work for you? I'm always tighter in the morning and have a hot drink to help my band relax a little. If you don't like coffee or tea, some warm chicken broth or bouillon or even warm Water with lemon will work.

I also take benadryl the night before to help with morning congestion (yes, sinus drainage often contributes to morning tightness).

If you can't get any liquids down, you need to be seen. I'm not sure I would wait till tomorrow, but as it's now 6pm, unless you want to go to the ER, I guess you will have to wait.

Thank you for those comments. I find that the band is a lot tighter in the morning as well so I will try those ideas you gave me.

I did end up going in yesterday afternoon and after they took out 0.5cc's I felt a million times better. I guess I have found the spot where I need to be for now :)

thanks again, I appreciate you taking the time to respond!!!
