Neausea and heartburn

I'm 3 days post op and pretty miserable, hungry hungry hungry all day! I've tried protein shakes and chicken broth but both seem to be making me sick. I vomited for the first time lastnight which was horrible, so when I started feeling neasuea again today after my broth "lunch" I took a promethazine but the feeling is still there only now I'm getting slight taste of broth like a little heartburn. I'm really regretting this procedure right now, i need some reassurance...
