Hello

Hi everyone, I just wanted to indroduce myself. My name is Patty. I just passed my 2 year mark on having my lap band. I have lost 79 lbs so far. I had my surgery by Dr. Mike Sofronski of the Delmarva Bariatric Center in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Prior to embarking on my weight loss journey, I was a complete non-believer. I thought surgery was the easy way out, and boy was I wrong. Dr. Sofronski guided me through this whole process. I have made a complete 180 degree mindset change and finally decided to work the program and have become successful. Not only do I continue to be a patient, but I have started working as the Bariatric Program Coordinator for Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE. Weight loss surgery is such a wonderful way to put all of us who have issue with food on an even playing field with those who don't. I love my job and I love having my life back. <3 Patty
