My surgeon's office just submitted my case to Blue Sheild of California. I am just keeping my fingers crossed. My BMI is 35, I have hypertension in which I take meds for, I had a sleep study that showed mild apnea and I have documentation from Nutrisystem that I attempted a diet program since last August. The problem is, I dont know if Nutrisystem alone will count as a 6 mth diet program and I have only been taking my hypertension meds for 3 months so i think my case may be borderline to qualify. I have been working on this for almost a year so I dont know what i will do if I dont get approved.
