Got a call today from the surgeon's office that I am approved for my May 11, 2011 surgery!!!!! My info was submitted on the April 11, but it was missing my clearance from the pulm because my appt with him was on the 13th. I don't even know when that was submitted. They must have approved me quickly. So excited my time has finally come. Bloodwork and chest XR on May 2nd. Pre-op appt with my surgeon on May 9th.

Kristen, congratulations. Hope everything goes well for you. Hope the surgery turns out great. I called the doctor's office today and talked to them about having this surgery done. Tomorrow I go to my doctor. Hope they can get this done soon. Good luck.

I called my insurance to double check that I was approved and its a YES! I might be crazy but I just wanted to be reassured.
