Lump in my throat

Hi! I was banded 3-7-11 and have had a "lump" sensation in my throat for most of the time since then. I also had hiatal hernia repair and am still having acid reflux. I thought that was supposed to stop after surgery? The feeling of something in my throat drives me nuts! I drink water but it doesnt seem to help. Anyone else have this annoying feeling in their throat or reflux problems? What causes it and what should I do about it? Help!! Thanks!

I have had that when I have eaten too much or right after my fills when I am really tight. Have u called your surgeon?

During surgery they put a tube down your throat. After my surgery I had a really annoying lump in my throat feeling and sometimes a choking feeling that lasted up to 6 weeks post op I think.

Maybe that is what you are feeling. I would talk to your doctor and hopefully it goes away soon.
