Hello fellow PCOS/Bandsters! I have a question for anyone who may know the answer to this. I have PCOS and have had fertility issues in the past. I read somewhere in my searches that soy products can decrease fertility. I am nowhere near ready to start trying again. However, I have switched to using Silk Light in my Protein shakes, due to having a lot of gas with dairy. Has anyone heard of this? If so, how long before TTC, should I not use soy products?

Hi Stephanie. I heard just the opposite. I made the switch to soy after being banded. I have pcos and I got pregnant a month after loosing 30lbs, switching to soy and having my blood sugars balanced. I now have a six month old daughter. Beware of using the Silk brand its made using chemicals. If I were you I would change to an organic soy milk. Silk is not.
