Harder Work Outs

I am 5 weeks Post Op. When can I start doing harder work outs, using weights, doing sit ups and stuff like that? I forgot to ask my doctor last week.

Thank you.

I think 6 weeks your allowed to do whatever.

Yes its 6wks thats what my surgeon says you dont want bother that port doing too much!!!!!!!!

I had the same question almost a month ago. The first day of my fill, which was at 6 weeks post op (3 weeks ago) I was given the okay for strenuous workout. However, if I were you I'd ask my surgeon/nurse or PA. They will surely let you know.

That's really a good question for your doctor because I'm only 3 weeks out and I can begin lifting weights again and I've been able to do high impact Zumba as my body allows in the past 3 weeks.. call your doc!
