Post Op 10 Days... Questions!!!!!

Okay. So I was banded 3/11/11... I lost 27 pounds on the preop diet, but the scale hasn't moved. It's actually went up a little. I've been following the full liquids diet...I've not had any milkshakes or anything. All I eat is creamed Soups (barely) and tomato Soup...Water, Jello, popsicles. :( When will I start to loose?

Also, they told me... I have a tradition sized band. How large is that? Is that like 10 cc's? I'm not sure. I know they were surprised I didn't have to have the large band which is 14cc's.

Any tips? What should I do?

I too lost a considerable amount of weight on my pre-op diet. Then little to nothing, I talked to my MD and she said that my body was probably in shock and in survivor mode. Give it another few days and you will see a drop on the scale. 27lbs is AWESOME!!!! Remember, you did not put the weight on quickly, so it won't come off quickly B). Good luck with new lifestyle and keep up the good work!!!

Okay that makes sense...I was at 299 by my surgery but now I'm up to 304....My first fill is scheduled for April 19th. I really want to at least get back to 299...I feel really discouraged.

I just want to loose a little.
