I have cravings for different things all the time. When that happens I try to find something that could replace that craving (ie sugar craving I have strawberries or a fruit). If after a while ( a week or so) I am still madly craving something I just give in and have it once.

Usually by that time the craved food isnt as good as I thought it would taste and that is the end of that.

The first bite is truly the only good bite. After that its not that great. Mostly true of sweets and carb foods. The idea/dream of the food is better than the reality. For some reason now I get that finally.
