I keep a journal of 1200 calories "that's for a woman", and 60G of protein a day.

You can eat what you want to fill up like sugar free puddings, yogurt, cottage cheese,

whatever it takes to keep you a little happy.

Understand,, sometime it's head hunger, and try not to give into that, because eventually it will start to get less, and less.

If your really hungry have a cup of the sugar free pudding, that helps me a lot. you can buy instant with more flavors, and put them in desert cups. I did when I first started out. Also do you have a lite protein shake? Muscle Milk makes a excellent variety. You can use 1/2 the water, and freeze the muscle milk, it's not bad. But 1200 calories is quite a bit of food. You can go on line to calorie counter, and choose calorie king. Enter your food and get your calories, and protein totals from there. Or books if you want to look the stuff up.

Hope this helps, follow this and your Dr. should be happy. Get back if you need to.

Shirley.
