frustrated

I have had only 1 fill in February. I can' tell any difference than before I had it. I did have questions so I met with my nutritionist and got those questions answered. My scales have not moved!!! I have lost inches and I'm down about 1 1/2 size, but I need to see the numbers. Has anyone else had this issue?

Maybe you need another fill? Also, please please please, I can't stress this enough, the scale is not your only measure of success and you shouldn't see it as such. You're losing inches. That is a much better loss than the number on the scale, trust me. I know you need to see the numbers, but there's numbers in the inches lost. Do you feel better about yourself? Are you getting more compliments? Those things are success as well.

My advice: stay off the scale as much as possible. It can ruin your journey easily. Trust me. I was on the scale in the beginning 10 times a day, if not more, and ever .1 or .3 I went up I went nuts; it's not worth it.

I had surgery on the 27th of Jan. and get my first fill in two days. I want my doc to be aggressive with the fill and not stick to his usual 1/4 cc or 1/8 cc even. I think I have a 4cc band. I am hoping I can tell the difference as right now I can pretty much eat anything. I have stayed under 1000 calories a day and I am up to walking 3 miles a night and I have only lost 12 pounds in 6 weeks. I will have a second fill in April, but I do not know after that. I hate waiting a month on fills ...is that the norm?
