But seriously these are the first photos that I have voluntarily been in for over 10 years. Losing 40 lbs has boosted my self confidence and helped me join in where previously I would have sat on the sidelines watching.

Today I went quad bike riding and swimming in full view of others -AND IT WAS FUN!!!!!!

I have a long way to go still but each day it gets easier to be active and easier to be positive about the changes taking place in my life.

A note to EVERY bandster - Dont give up - there is a life out there that you can enjoy so go and grab it with both hands and tell it you have arrived and that you are in charge - forever.

Looking good! I totally understand not wanting to be in pics. I didn't even take christmas pics with the kids :-( but its my plan for 2011!

It must be great to say you were happy to be in a picture for the first time in a long time. I can't WAIT until I feel comfortable enough to say, hey get a picture of us!! Like the poster before me, I would love to have a family Christmas picture but I just haven't had the nerve yet. I'm hoping 2011 is my year, too. Keep up the great work and CONGRATULATIONS, you've dong a great job and jumped another hurdle!!
