New to site

Hi,

I am so glad I was blessed to find this site! I am going to my first orientation/meeting next Tuesday. After reading many posts of folks at different stages of this journey, I don't feel so scared, alone, and clueless...THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I found this site because I was using a career exploration tool called Typefocus.com--it is great and I'd never since such a tool with work/balance, including stress management and weight loss for your Myers-Briggs personality type. What truly struck me for this first time was that they gave an example of setting your original goal but to initially target to lose 20% of your current weight, then maintain it for 3 months, then target to lose 15% of your current weight, repeating if necessary until you reach your ideal goal. Has anyone ever heard of or tried this method? It never occurred to me, but I did calculate the lbs. lose and it was manageable to my brain which is always the biggest battle, in my mind!

Well, thank you for being here...I appreciate and hope to be contribute to our better health!

Blessings, All
