Hiya Chucks,
I am new to this e-mail business so bear with me.
I had my Lap Band fitted on the 5th Nov 2003, and so far I have lost 10kg, most of that was lost in the first 3 weeks. My doctor here in Australia fills the band to the maximum in surgery, so I have no fills to look forward to, is this usual?
My doctor has also said I should lose around 2kg a week! (which I am obviously not) so I am obviously a little bit concerned. Am I doomed to failure again.
Also like some of the other people on these sites, I am still hungry (or maybe I think I am), and also some people expect me to not want to eat beacause of the band (perhaps they think I have had some of my brain surgically altered as well - if only)
How can I convince myself and the people around me that I am going to lose the weight eventually.
Janie
