Today is the most happiest day of my life!!

Six months ago i was denied for the lap band surgery cause my BMI in 2008 was not over 40.

I was sooooo upset and disapointed !!

Changing my insurance to BCBS and the new year 2011 BMI got me approved today!!!

Today is the start of my new life, I want to live for my kids and be able to run and go to the beach

without worrying about my fat rolls!! Ive been heavy my whole life, teassed in school and

not wantin to go out beause having nothing to wear. My prayers have been answered....

soon i will be thin, healthy and beautiful !!

I remember that feeling so well!! Congratulations that you are "finally approved!" Thank you for your post. I was banded three weeks ago and things are going great! i can't wait for the day when I can run and play with my kids without pain and with energy!!!
