Zengirl,

I was banded on the 14th. I was in a lot of pain on the 15th and 16th. The gas pain was difficult. The pain was due to not being able to expel the gas. I took gas-X strips. However, walking at a slow pace worked the best for me. Also, discharge from the incision sites. Very weak. I possible, please try to delay your return trip by a day or two. Good Luck. Also, take a hard pillow to protect your stomach from pressure and large Water proof bandaids to cover the incision sites.
