  1. i was banded on 1/20/2011. hunger issues are not a huge issue at the moment, but dear god my port site is killing me! someone please tell me about their experience with the port pain. i don't feel there is anything wrong with the area, no heat or swelling. if i slouch it hurts more. if i use any ounce of my core i can feel the pain.
  2. 4 days post op, sorry. i can have any and all liquids, yogurt, jello, pudding and applesauce. i broke down and got some hummus. it was nice and smooth and hit the spot.
  3. so it's day 4. i want real food! i want something crunchy, creamy, something with texture! someone please help with ideas.
  4. i get my surgery done out of state next Thursday . i am flying back the next day. i know i will be sleepy but my big concern is the gas. i know they fill your stomach with gas and i'm afraid i will have uncontrollable gas on the flight. can anyone tell me how bad that might be.
