Hi, my name is Deby and I joined yesterday to learn all I can about Lap Band surgery. I retired from the Air Force about 17 years ago (I'm 55) and have steadily put the pounds on. I live in the Florida panhandle and if I have the surgery, will have it done at the military hospital here. I desperately want to lose weight and have been trying for years. The weight makes exercise painful and am hoping with Lap Band I can lose the weight for good. I'm very determined to follow doctors orders to be successful. Hope to stay in touch with more of you in the weeks/months to come.
