Weight History??

I have Aetna and I am not sure but I think its PPO its one of the better ones because my husband works for the Union so its a GREAT plan and I am currently 2 months into my 3 month diet plan. So my information wont be sent for another month but I am anxious that I wont be approved. My BMI is currently at 40 and I can prove that for 2010 and 2008 with medical records but in January of 09 I went to Jenni Craig after learning my old insurance did not cover the surgery. So my only documented weight that would qualify is Jenny Craig. So will that be counted or not because its not medical?? I lost almost 70 lbs with them and then put it all back on and them some with my last pregnancy. So I jsut dont know? anyone with words of wisdome??

Usually most insurance companies will accept wt loss histories from Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, etc. I know my plan accepts them. Just call and ask them. They'll tell you. Or sometimes you can access the actual policy online. I can w/Carefirst BC/BS. But again, if you call and ask them, they will tell you what the policy says.

And I'm w/you regarding the weight gain from pregnancy. I can't wait to get my band back!! I wish you the best.
