Coughing & Vomiting?

How common is it to have band slippage when coughing or vomitting? That really scares me! Anyone opt to have GBS instead or just took your chances with lap band??

    according to my research and my surgeon coughing should not cause band slippage. As far as band slippage it is very unlikely..you would have to vomit alot..frequently..and band slippage only happens in on average 10% of lap band patients.. Band slippage can be prevented by chewing thouroughly and not overeating. I considered GBS, but lapband was a much better choice for me!
