Lifting

I was banded on 12/30/10...2 days ago. I am doing pretty well with minimal pain now..mostly when I get up or change positions in the bed. I am not taking the pain meds anymore. The most discomfort I have is in the middle of my upper abdominal area.. I think I can feel the port there. Anwyay, I am taking off this week to recover from work. I have a 4 yr old and a 9 month old, and my parents and my husband will be picking up the baby this week because my dr said not to lift anything heavier than 15 lbs for at least 2 weeks. Well, my husband has to go out of town next week for work, and my baby is 19 lbs. Does anybody have experience with lifting a week post op? I am hoping I won't have too much trouble because I will have to pick her up and take care of the baby by myself next week. Thanks!
