Approved--kinda

My auth with my insurance went thru just fine. I am scheduled for surg on 11/22/2010. Yesterday I get a call from my PCP office stating my lab work was a little off. She said that my sodium was low and I should be on resticted liquids for the next two weeks. Im freakin out over here. Low liquid and a super low calorie pre op diet. Oh guys... I hope I can get thru this. The surgeons office said he will need a release from the PCP to move forward with the surg. I think that will be fine because the sodium level was just slightly off but its yet another "step" that I have to take and I hope it will be all worth while soon......

Oh I am down 13.5 pounds since 09/27/2010. I need to get one of those cool ticker thingamajiggs. LOL

you know don't worry. A day before the surgery they told me that my AKG was not right. I was panicking. They scheduled appointment the same day with a doctor and he approved me. I had my surgery the very next day. I did have to wait 6 hours since my doctor had an emergency surgery before me, but it was worth the wait. Now 4 weeks later I am 30lbs lighter.
