yummy liquid!

Hey Guys!

I suppose everyone allready knows this, but I just discovered it for myself and wanted to share.I just buy the chocolate powdered protien from Walmart, but I suppose any would do.In your cup of coffee put a serving of protien powder,1 pkg. splenda and powdered creamer to taste...Soooooooooo delicous!!!Packs 20 grams protien and miniscule carbs. Also the powder disolves much easier in hot liquid than cold.I don't think this is appropriate for clear phase, but maybe for phase two.(Maybe some oldtimers can let us know.)I still have to have my endoscopy then my band.Whoo-hoo!I stopped the soda addiction months ago in anticipation of my band,so am very proud of myself for that.Never thought I could do it,so I wanted to be sure befor surgery.Keep up the good work all...you're such an encouragement for us newbies!!!

Thanks for sharing the information. Hearing from lots of different folks is very helpful. Congratulations on kicking the soda habit, that's quite a coo, well done. Sounds as if you are more than ready to be banded and begin a new lifestyle. You are taking a very commen sense approach to it and that will be a major assest for you. I am excited for you and hope your endoscopy goes well and that you are banded soon.

Welcome to the boards, hope to see you around alot!

Happy Holidays

Cindy
