Hello everyone!
I am new to blogging per say, but wanted to give it a try since I will be beginning a completely new journey to discover what I have never seen before. I am scheduled to be banded on Tuesday 10/12/10 and never have been more ready in my life after 3 years of prep. Let's say I haven't seen 185 lb since the 5th grade! To make a long story short, I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease after 31 years of my whole life explaining my difficulties with weight loss, hormones and high blood pressure. Of course I have been plagued with every other obese anomaly such as PCOS, Gestational Diabetes, herniated discs, ankle and foot problems, etc. I actually think my mother is more excited than I am since she is also curious to see what I look like under all of this!
I look forward to reading more posts and they are wonderful to keep me going seeing what has worked for others. Right now I am more nervous getting through the first 2 weeks more than anything, because I feel everything after will be smooth sailing. Hope I'm right!...Thanks!
