Proteing Shots in the Tube

Have any one tried the protein shots in the tube?

If so what brand and flavor would you recommend?

I've spent a small fortune on Protein and in my opinion the Super whey Protein Shots from Walmart are by far the best. They are 2.9 oz and come in fruit punch flavor with 26g of protein and 110 calories. A couple sips and its gone with no aftertaste! They are $1.88 each or $9.98 for a box of 6. I keep them in the fridge and have 1 a day.

I tried the ones from GNC and they are way too strong to drink alone. I tried mixing them in crystal light but then it takes forever to get them down. I'd rather be done with it fast! They are also much more expensive!

I have yet to find a milky Protein Drink that I can tolerate.

the Protein shots are not composed of the most bioavailable proteins; you'd be better off finding a good whey protein isolate powder (or ready-to-drink).

Protein supplements don't have to be high volume or gross. Bariatric Eating has really good powders that mix with just 4 oz. liquid. There are both flavored and unflavored---the latter is really handy to have, because sweet can get tiresome after a while.

My Dr. said to stay away from the Bullets (GNC) as they were not good for your Kidneys? Not sure why but just passing it along. I drank them on weeks when I had a hard time getting all my protien in. They taste bad but it is only a small amount and you can drink just half and close them back up and put in icebox if you want to.

I was also told the protein shots are a no-no. They do not absorb the right kind of protein that bariatric patients need.
