Hello everyone I go see my surgeon Dr carroll wed sept 8th. Im excited more than nervous. what can I expect at this appt. please

Congratulations and welcome! My first appt with my surgeon was pretty standard. He asked me a lot of medical history questions, and he described the Lap Band. He checked my vitals and inspected my belly (I guess for signs of hernia or something. I'm not really sure.) Then, he explained how the band works and how it would change my eating habits. He explained to me all of the risks associated with the procedure and especially the risks that come along with not following proper direction. That was pretty much all.

I had a visit with the center's nutritionist the same day, so I really got more information from her, as far as the eating and everything. If you're new around here, you will find that there is ALOT of great information on here.
