Well I just got off the phone w/Penni & she still has her sence of humor intact!!!LOL SHe is home & her DH is taking great care of her. Her upper GI went well after surgery but was not without discomfort. She said she'd be back on the boards in a day or two & that she looks forward to sleeping in her own bed tonight. She said she is also losing a few pounds b/c she is only on liquids & than mushies over the next week or so while she heals. She sends love to all.

HEAL UP FAST & TAKE THINGS SLOW PENNI WE LOVE YOU GIRLIE!!!!!!

:(Thanks SO much for the update, I've had a few sleepless nights but now can rest easier knowing our Penni is on the road to recovery.

We Love ya Sweetie, glad you're home!

You know the thing about this board is it sure is addictive. I was going to not post till tomorrow but I was drawn in my drug induced state to come and post. LOL!!

I love Dr. Billy. I think someone on her was curious if he was married. I gather he isn't but is divorced. He has two kids for sure. This puts him in a whole new light for me. LOL!!!

I will post details of the surgery and what lead me to have it so fast in a day or two. I have to gather my thoughts. It all seems like a blur now.

I am home and doing really well. I got my pain meds filled (dear sweet John did that for me).

I think I have lost 10 lbs in poop so far. LOL!!!

Billy used one of my old scars from my tubal years ago. He made a point of using my old scars instead of making new ones. He also kept the band. I guess he is going to send it to Inamed for all the good it will do. At least he kept it though.

The upper GI the next morning after surgery was NOT fun. But necessary to rule out any perforation so I could drink my clear liquids. MMM MMM GOOD!!

Long ordeal but it is done now and I can get back on the road to recovery. Gotta get my strength built back up for Christmas and my 3 yr old grandson.

HUGS to you all. I just love you guys.

Oh Penni, it's so good to see you posting. Thank God for pain meds...I'm glad you got on!!!

Can't wait to hear all the gory details later, and you know we want to hear them, but we are also concerned with how you are doing emotionally with all of this. We are waiting for wise advice and to hear your perspective, so valued here! Take it easy. When you are ready, we are listening! Lots of LBT LOVE and (((HUGS)))!!!!!

Penni it is so great to hear from you. I am glad everything is going ok for you since gettig home. Hope you get a good nights sleep. I know I will now that you are home and doing ok. Take Care!!

I'm so glad to see you back! I prayed for you the day of your surgery and also tried calling you earlier in the day. I was so concerned about you!

I'm so grateful to see that you are doing well now, and please know that I'm here for you if you need me.

All of My Love, ~Kelly
