I am so excited that I have made the decision to get lap band surgery now I just have to pray everything goes through and that I am approved. I am soooo nervous but glad that now I am 100% sure that I want lapband. It took me about a year to get to this point.

Yay!! You are on your way to a healthier you. I have BCBS & it took them almost two weeks to approve me. There is so much you have to go through first before it even gets submitted to insurance. I have some serious health issues. I have Diabetes, High Blood Pressure & High Cholesterol. Not to mention all the health problems running in my parents family. It will be so worth it when its done and over with. My surgery is scheduled for August 27th. My Pre Op is scheduled for August 18th. I am so excited & nervous at the same time. Im totally looking forward to being healthy & not being ashamed of myself! My husband & daughters have been extremely supportive too. I have only told about 10 other people. The rest of them will just find out in due time! Good luck on your journey. We are all here for each other!
