Pre-op LIQUID DIET HELP

So, FINALLY after dealing with the stupid EXPLETIVE EXPLETIVE weight loss center in Beverly Hills its finally over and my wife and I got a surgery date for August 26th at St Josephs instead. YAY!!!! I started my pre-op liquid diet for 2 weeks!!! First day is pretty good especially since I had my last big meal last night. J My last meal of choice…. You guessed it, im in the west coast so I went with In & Out (2 burgers). I have to say it tasted the best it has ever tasted.

Question about the liquid diet? Can I have and juices, coffee or tea? I am attending a party on Saturday and I was wondering if I can even have a couple of cocktails, or is this something where I can only have water and the liquid shakes??? What do you guys think?

I was told no alcohol & no carbonated or caffeinated beverages.

Acceptable clear liquids are: decaffeinated tea and coffee, sugar free kool aid, sugar free jello, sugar free/clear popsicles, clear broth and bouillon, crystal light, minute maid light, diet snapple and sugar free/ low sugar protein supplements.

Hope this helps :)

NO ALCOHOL.

The purpose of the pre-op diet is to shrink your liver.

Alcohol is directly opposed to that. I would not be able to do any parties right about now.

Parties and alcohol will always be here.
