Just wanted to say that I'm so excited about this surgery! On July 23rd I was approved for the surgery by my insurance. It was a great 40th birthday present! I've done a lot of research and this website helps so much. I've enjoyed reading the posts. Today was my nutrition and exercise meeting. A lot of information to process. I have an appointment with the surgeon on August 23. I can't wait! Any Iowans who have been banded?
