I was curious to know about morning sickness and being pregnant? Is it the same kind of throwing up we did before banding..is their a higher risk to slip since you throw up so much?

I only ask because if I did get pregnant again that would be my concern. With my twins i was pretty sick the first 15 wks and then 20-24wks or so and I puked a few times a day. Thanks ladies~

I didn't really have morning sickness. I wasn't feeling well and i did get nauseated, but my PCP gave me phenergan to keep it at bay. I only felt that way for a few weeks.

I did get 1.5 cc's taken out of my band though because it tightened during the first trimester. It was extremely difficult to eat. I could feel everything going down and I had lost more than 10 pounds in less than a month.

I had morning sickness as well, although I didn't throw up often it was no different then normal throwing up I do on occasion...But there is medication like Shay has said and if Phenergan doesn't work they have Zofran which is a miracle drug and doesn't have as many side effects as Phenergan...I did not get unfilled at all and still haven't and the morning sickness of course has passed but it was nothing that I look back on and think wow that was bad...good luck with whatever you decide :)

I didnt have morning sickness at all this time around and I am having twins. The only time it became a problem was when the babies were really starting to get bigger and I wasnt able to get hardly anything in. I had to get some of my band unfilled and havent had an issue since.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
