Hello guys :cursing:

I have had my lap band for a week. (Surgery: 6/21/2010) I have this sharp pain in my chest, right above my left breast. I swore I was having a heart attack. It hurts to take too deep of a breath. I have had it off and on for 3 days. Any advice on what it is or how to stop it?

You should call your surgeon to discuss how you're doing and what he/she thinks you can do to stop the pain.

Since you are just one week out I'm sure its most likley the gas pains most of us have from surgery....but check with the doc. I'm 2 weeks out and can still feel it but is is very minor one week out it was nasty!
