Vitamin D Deficient

Having my surgery July 23rd, post-op visit on July 19th. Just found out my blood work showed I was Vit D deficient, I'm sure they will go over this at my post-op visit but I was wondering if anyone is supplementing vit D after LapBand? Is there a liquid version? I know I could get it from the sun but I am very faired skinned and I avoid the sun like, well, like I'm a vampire.

I was found deficient too in my original bloodwork. They put me on an 8 week (once a week) high dose RX of Vit. D. It's a little geltab and it's like 50,000 mgs!

Done! All good now. If you get a Calcium supplement with Vitamin D in it you should be just fine.

They have vit. D gummies. They are small and don't taste too bad. I also use fiber gummies from Target.

yes they do have liquid vitamin d. You can find it at most health food stores.

I visit my Dr today, and he put me on Vitamin D also.
