I was approved for LAP-BAND® by Aetna, but before I started this long and expensive process I called Aetna to see what my plan covered.They said they cover 50% and I had to pay a In-network 400$ deductible and that I had a 3000$ out of pocket so I would just have to pay 3400$ and the insurance would pick up the rest. Now I just found out that is not true and that they only cover 50% and that I do not have a out of pocket for that.So I basically wasted alot of money on co-pay (dietitian,phycology evaluation,sleep study,toll ways ect.) and wasted 3 months down the drain plus I drove far away about a hour back and fourth cause this Dr was in my In-network. I really hate Aetna and Im really depressed cause I cant afford it..it would be cheaper if I self paid somewhere.Now I learned my lesson never to believe Aetna. I need to find a new health insurance that won't lie or at least know what they are talking about:mad:
