acid reflux?

Have been dealing with this every night when I lay down; acid starts to fill my pouch and back up into my throat. I then have to vomit, then I can go to sleep. This has been happening for about two weeks, and I need to see my doctor. Anyone ever had this problem?

Lots of bandsters have this problem occasionally. This past summer I had a really had case of it, so I had a big unfill in August. That immediately resolved my symptoms and I was able to have a re-fill a few weeks later.

Don't let it go. Try sticking to liquids only for a few days or a week and see if that has any effect. And of course there's all the other advice about avoiding trigger foods, or not eating after 5 or 6 at night. If you ignore it you may be setting yourself up for worse problems down the road, whereas now it may be easier to treat.

Good luck!!

If I'm filled too tight, I have nighttime reflux and will often wake up short of breath or with a coughing fit.

A small unfill fixes the issue for me. I'm also on a reflux medication daily, to help with this.
