surgery tomorow 6/22/10

Well is there any last minute advise. I am having my surgery tomorow. My husband ask how much I have lost on the liquid diet? I said 7 lbs. He said well all you have to do is stay on their diet then......... I don't think he really understands the whole gaining and losing thing. So what this is for me.

I have my vitamins, my gas x strips, and clear liquids is there anything else I need?

Just prayers! You will do just fine. The surgery went so quick for me, and the pain from the actual surgery was NOTHING. I have had a couple of surgery's including a c-section and a hysterectomy and they hurt, but this one was NOTHING! I was up and going right away!!! You will do great!

Congratulations!! Am sending you best wishes for tomorrow. If you haven't taken your measurements and before photos yet, be sure to do that today. You will definitely want them later.

Also, if you have a heating pad, you may want that for the shoulder pain after surgery. I didn't have one, but someone mentioned it on here and I thought it would have been nice to have one. Pack lip balm in your hospital bag.

You have a wonderful year (and beyond) in store for you. Get ready to finally feel good about your weight, and to feel heathier than you have felt in years.

Best wishes,

Catherine
