Mainly b/c of this forum. I am mostly dreading my Breast surgery and I am very nervous. Can anybody share thier experience with me. Good, bad or the ugly. The Dr. has told me the medical side of it. But I really like hearring from people who have been through it. Thank you so much.

On April 22ns 2010 I had a Brachioplasty and Breast reduction. I hafta say I had NO pain from either!

I went down from a G cup to a C cup.

The only ouchy moment was having the drains removed - and that was just ouchy - Definitely not the agony I told myself I would be having.....

Good luck on your upcoming breast reduction - I bet you are very happy with your new boobies :smile2:

I had my surgery to go from a G to a C on April 22 - outpatient - arrived at 11 am and was leaving the hospital for home by 4pm same day! Pain wasn't bad - I kept up with my pain pills for the first day every 4-6 hrs and then took 2 at night to be sure I could sleep good. I got weaned down to 6-8 hours between pain pills in the second day and my third day I was only taking something when I felt I needed it.

I will warn you, Darvocet and/or Tylenol #3 with Codeine made me constipated - so I would recommend a stool softener each evening while you are on those narcotic meds if that has been a problem before.

So, I am happy to report that I went JOGGING, yes on a treadmill at 4 MPH today for .1 mile at a time, then I would walk some and finished with a jog of .25 mile on the treadmill. I wore a double sports bra and nothing jiggled or hurt! Woo hoo!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
