I just wanted to say that this community of bandsters is awesome! I'm not banded yet (June 23 is when I go), and reading some of the questions and comments has made me even more excited about my new journey! I like that the good, the bad and the ugly is on here, it makes me feel better that I have a resource I can go to if I have troubles or questions! Thanks for the insite as to what it is like to be banded!:laugh:

:thumbup:Glad to hear it! I've been on this forum for a little over 2 weeks and it has really helped with answers to all the post op feelings or uncomfortableness. As soon as you go on here you realize that everybody is going or has gone through the same things - makes a HUGE difference.

Where are you getting banded? You may find it helpful to check out the support groups in your area. Keep us posted we are here for you.

I'm going to Slimband in Toronto, so far the whole process with them has been good! All my follow up will be done in Alberta, that where I am

Buggie I am a SB bandster and the webcam support is in my opinion very good. Just had a session yesterday on triggers. Also, SB is setting up a chat room, I intend to use.

As for this site, I think it is second to none and recommend it frequently.
