Polyps

Can having polyps prevent me from being able to get the lap band surgery done?

I am almost afraid to ask where these polyps are! The best thing to do is ask your physician. Chances are, they can snare them off when they do a EGD or other scope. I feel pretty safe saying no, if they are in your nose.

I dont know if I have them. But I understand they test for intestinal polyps prior to surgery so I was wondering if they actually find any if it would prevent my getting the surgery. :) Not in my nose lol
