Yay!!!

I have to share my excitement with everyone! I got my insurance approval today and surgery is scheduled for May 10th! I am soooo excited and a bit nervous. I have my pre-op testing on Saturday and meet with the surgeon next Monday for the final appt. I also meet with the nutrition counselor to review pre-op and post-op diet. I am sooo excited! My hubby isn't as excited. I wish he was. I think he might be a bit nervous that something bad will happen in the surgery. My mom thinks that he might be nervous that once I am thin, I will leave him. No way! Any other May 10th banders? Any advice? I want to EAT all the foods that I know I won't be able to. I want to EAT, EAT, EAT before my pre-op. Is that terrible? Happy dance!!!!!

Congrats on the date and good luck!

Keep us all posted!

Congratulations to you!! Don't worry about going too crazy with the last meals. . you'll still be able to eat pretty much everything after you are banded, especially before you get filled to good restriction. BTW, be sure to take before pics and your measurements! You will want them later!

Best wishes,

Catherine
