New & Clueless

Hi!

I live in the DFW area and have been considering the band. I am attending a seminar on it on Dec. 6th. I have numerous concerns, but at 43, I feel that I dont have any other choice. I've tried EVERYTHING except this. I'm at the heaviest I have ever been -- 285 --. I've been thinking about Dr. Hagood, but don't really know much about him. Any suggestions, recommendations, advice?

Hi Angelburch, I live north of DFW in the Denton area, and Dr. Marsden did my surgery. His office is in Lewisville and he uses the Hurst Surgery Center. I am very happy with him. You will probably use someone in the same group as he is in, but based out of Richardson?

There is so many suggestions, so much advice, etc., on this board, I can't even begin to tell you! Search past posts, and read through everything.....if you want to know about pre-op, search that term and see what you find. If you have some specific questions, ask away!
