Water, water everywhere.......

So how much Water are you currently drinking per day? Do you add anything to it ie: Crystal Lite or other brands?

Are you drinking any coffee, tea or broth in addition to the water and how much?

I'm currently drinking 33.8 oz bottle and a 32 bottle of water. I add 1 packet of "something" to the 33.8 oz bottle - not wild about crystal lite brand but do like walmart brand grape, cranberry and orange, hawiian punch grape and punch. I have some other generic brand that is kind of orangy. I find, though, that some of these are just too sweet and overpowering so instead of adding 1 to 16.9 oz, I add 1 to the 33.8 oz to thin it out.

To the 32 oz water bottle I have been adding lime juice and 2 packets of sweet n low. I love Limeaide. If I don't have the real lime juice, I use a couple packets of TrueLime.

Since the weather is just starting to be spring-like, I also have either a 16 oz mug of hot tea or broth a day.

Often I have another 4-8 oz of just plain water in the evening when I take my nighttime meds.

This is approx 85 oz of liquids a day and does not include the 1 or 2 liquid Protein shakes - 11 oz each.

I try to get in about 24 oz of Water between meals -- and I try to wait until fairly close to the meal since drinking the water seems to make my "fullness" go away.

I drink a mug of 1/2 coffee, 1/2 skim milk before Breakfast in the morning, and may have a cup of tea or two sometime during the day.

I also drink water during workouts.

I try to stay away from the "add-ins" because of the sweetener. I try to only use sweetener about once a day or less... I have found over time that if I want to not crave sweets and sugar, I need to pretty much ditch the sweetener as well.

I don't measure anything really. I don't drink enough plain Water. I do drink quite a lot of iced tea (brewed/tea bag) with sweet n low.

I would watch it with lime or lemon added to your water. The acid can rapidly erode the enamel on your teeth.

I started using Propel mix. It is less sweet and intense, but adds some flavor. I like it better too because it is made with Splenda rather than Aspartame. Aspartame makes my joints hurt. I did not believe it at first, but I have tested it by going off and starting up again three times.
