Realize Band and this site

Today, I found out my Dr. does the Realize Band but I thought I was doing the Lap Band. Is there any major difference. Is the weight loss amount the same? Would the information in this group still apply?:)

    Hi KatKit,

    The realize band is just another manufacturer of a gastric band. Here is a link to a website that compares the LapBand and the Realize. These seem to be some of the more common bands, although I've seen some other brands mentioned on these boards.
