New Port

I am getting a new port on april 16.I had my port removed do to infection. I was just wondering if any one knows if the sugery wiil be like the first? I have been doing great and want to keep it up!!! No more meds for dieabeties,liver is working great, down 33lb walking 3-5 miles a day.

    The doc told me yesterday that they open up the same incision, switch ports, glue you together and send you on your way. Biggest risk is infection, so I assume they will fill you with antibiotics while they are doing the surgery.
